Clean up a messy spreadsheet

Turn inconsistent, half-finished data into a table you can trust.

Updated Jul 26, 2026 · 1 copies

Here is messy tabular data: paste the rows, including the header row. Standardise it and return a clean table: • dates all in preferred format, e.g. DD-MM-YYYY • consistent capitalisation for names and categories • numbers with no currency symbols or thousands separators • genuinely empty cells marked "missing" rather than 0 Then tell me: anything you had to guess at, rows that look like duplicates of each other, and values that look like data-entry errors. Do not silently drop or invent rows — if something can't be cleaned, leave it and flag it.
